Hello, my lovelies!
I hope you all had a good weekend! Ours was plagued by the flu. Only Lewi has been sick, but it was enough to completely wipe out all of Justin’s and my energy.
Luckily, we were able to get a couple hours away to run errands and get some outfits shot in the fifty degree weather! Thank you, mom-in-law!
Sometimes dressing for spring is difficult. It’s hard to know which pieces will transition smoothly into the next season, but fear not! I have decided to share one of my favorite closet staples with you.

A wrap dress is good for ANY season! This mock wrap dress is my absolute fave. I have had it since the summer of ’14. It’s still in the best shape, and I don’t foresee getting rid of it anytime soon.
It’s actually the dress I purchased in hopes that I’d be wearing it when I was proposed to… it didn’t work out that way. 🙂
I think wrap dresses are important pieces that every woman should own; they are so flattering on every figure! They hug in all the right places, but they aren’t too snug on the areas that some of us moms just aren’t ready to show off yet. Plus, they are appropriate for all ages, occasions, and are completely timeless! You won’t have to worry about them going out of style.
Pairing a short black dress with booties is perfect for the spring season! These rain boots are perfect for the North Dakota spring weather. With all the rain and puddles, you’ll really want to invest in a pair. I am hoping to finally settle on a pair of Hunter boots soon, so I can get them before next month. (I’ve been having a hard time deciding on length. Short girl probs.)
If you can’t tell, it was super bright out. 🙂 I was having issues..
Hope you all have a bright Monday on this grey day!
Do you have a wrap dress in your closet? Let me know in the comments!
