Happy Monday!
I hope everyone had a great St. Patrick’s day! We spent Friday night at the movies for Beauty and the Beast.. It was amazing, and if you haven’t seen it, you NEED to! I had goosebumps the entire movie!!
Saturday we celebrated our St. Patty’s Day with my husband’s Irish clan (in the case that you didn’t know Magee was Irish, now you do). We feasted on corned beef and cabbage! Well, I feasted on corned beef and homemade bread with dill.. yuuuummmm!
We spent Saturday night at a junior high school play directed in part by my future brother-in-law. It was cute and cool to see some of his work behind the scenes.
I’ve been kind of unplugged for the last couple days (partly due to the fact that I forgot my phone in Fargo this weekend while we traveled) and I feel like I’m just soooo behind!
If you missed my Instagram post on Thursday, I shared my absolute favorite dress for this spring! It comes in one other color and one print. I really think I’ll be getting the camo print soon..
Tunic Dress | Birkenstock Slides | Fedora | Earrings : similar here | Clutch : similar here, here, & here
So, like I said, I love this dress! It’s so light and cool. The material feels so nice on my skin and the style is so flattering on me. I always have issues with fit in my chest, but I was able to order an x-small and it still fits great. It will be perfect for running errands throughout both the spring and summer seasons.
I kept it simple with my favorite Birks, fedora, sunnies, and a monogrammed clutch. The aviator sunnies keep the entire look cool and relaxed.
I got these Birkenstock slides last year for my first Mother’s Day from my boys. I guess that makes them extra special, but they are also such a great neutral and go with every summer/spring outfit! The color is a sandy taupe. The weather is finally starting cooperate, so I officially give you permission to start wearing your Birks…. if you were wearing them before, I may have been judging.. just a little bit.
This clutch is from the same place as my monogrammed sweater in this post. If you haven’t checked out the Prep Obsessed website yet, I highly recommend giving it a peek! Just plan about four weeks ahead, as that is about as long as it takes to have products monogrammed.
I am really loving the olive color this season. I just ordered a pair of relax-fit shorts in olive and I can’t wait to wear them this summer!
I hope your Monday is going well, if not just do some online shopping. 🙂
xo, Tay
