This post was supposed to go up yesterday, but I had some computer malfunctions.
It’s the last week of January, which means time is finally ticking on again. I feel like the holiday blues lasts the entire month of January and into February. Valentine’s Day is truly the mark of a new year in my book.
Last Friday, Justin and I acknowledged the 11 year mark of our relationship. We didn’t celebrate as our entire house was cycling through their shifts of the stomach flu.
This week everyone is much happier, and seemingly healthier. Fingers crossed!
It’s the week of DUPES, people! I am dedicating this week’s posts on the blog to a frequent question I am asked. “How can I get a Louis Vuitton, but pay much less than retail?”
Though I have a few tips on how to purchase designer pieces under retail from consignment sites and such, I’ll save that information for a future post.
It seems that everyone is looking for their favorite designer bags for a fraction of the retail value. Though I don’t use replica goods, I understand the appeal.
My Louis Vuitton Neverfull GM set me back $1400, when I purchased it in 2018. The Neverfull is even on the lower cost end of Louis Vuitton bags, and that’s not exactly affordable for most people, myself included. It takes time and patience to save up for designer treats.

To simply put it, a replica is an exact copy of a trademarked designer good. The replica includes logos and exact patterns and dimensions. A dupe is a piece that resembles similarities of the designer design without logos or exact patterns or dimensions. The making and selling of replicas is illegal, they are counterfeit. Dupes are not illegal to make, sell, or buy.

It’s more neutral and would make the BEST mom-hands-free bag worn cross body like this.
