It has been FOREVER since my words have graced your screen, and for that I apologize. I was taking a much needed mental and emotional break from the cyber world. I am slowly coming back, and the goal is to grace your screen three times a week by August!
Today, I want to share the absolute best dress to purchase this summer!
I have this dress in two different colors (the Navy Heather (discontinued) and Tan Dusk Heather). So, I have decided to do a three part series on styling this versatile dress.
Today’s look is a day-time look with flexibility to be appropriate for any of your summer occasions!
You’re set to run errands around town, go shopping, pick-up groceries, attend a school or church function, and meet your girlfriends for lunch or drinks.
I love this dress because it is so breathable, and that is so important in these hot months. The style is really flattering on every shape and size, so that’s a huge bonus.
I paired these wedges because they are my favorite sandal of the season, and hold true to appropriation for any summer excursion. Plus, the pop of color really brightens up the mostly neutral look!
This cute cardi is accented with a kick-out ruffle on the upper arm and it adds a little sass to the overall look, and I LOVE that!
Of course an over-sized tote is a must with any look when you have two babes to haul around all summer long. I don’t know if I’ve shared my Neverfull on the blog yet! I will be doing a thorough review before the summer is over, so you know all the details of my favorite purchase this far in life.

This dress fits true-to-size if you’re going for the body-con look. And by body-con, I mean shows every dimple on your body. I wish I would have known this because I’m not 100 percent confident with fabric caressing my belly-button! I would consider sizing up one if you like a more relaxed fitting dress, I plan on ordering the Black and Grey Cloudy Heather in a size small to see how which fit I prefer.
