Hello Pumpkin!
It’s officially hump day, and I am so excited for this work week to be over. I knew these last two weeks before we receive our keys would be busier than the last six. But, I wasn’t prepared to be this much more stressed!
There are so many things out of my control at this point. Though I’m usually pretty calm about letting others do their jobs, I don’t feel as if that’s entirely the case here.
There has been so much push on our end, and it doesn’t feel like that’s how it’s supposed to be when we’re the ones handing over a good sum of money. The building company has been less than accommodating, and it seems pretty silly considering the ball is technically in our court.
Alright, I’m not here to be bitter! I’m smiling, I promise.
The pumpkin patch. This is the memory I keep going back to when I’ve been stressing this week. Have you seen the cute pictures of my kids!? I’ll share more with you over the span of the next month.
The day we went to the festival it was so so so warm. Seriously, the humidity had to have made the temperature feel like it was 90 degrees. I am no longer accepting sandals, shorts, or anything that can be deemed as summer attire. Therefore, I was so pleased to have this blouse from Pink Blush. Yes, it does have long sleeves, BUT the fabric is breathable and perfect for the couple warm Fall days we have left.

First of all, don’t be discouraged by the word maternity. This blouse works for non-maternity bodies too. It fits true to size, but if you’re expecting you may want to size up. I am not big enough yet to size up, so I went with a small and it fits perfectly.
Also, I would like to point out that this is not a style of blouse I would typically pick out to try-on in a store. I was feeling adventurous when I saw it online and really didn’t know if I’d like the fit on me. Surprisingly, I love it! It’s not exactly my signature style, but I’m really digging it and like that it’s a little different than my norm.
The pattern is subtle and because it runs vertical is very flattering for all body types! I’m loving it so much, and just noticed they have it in a blush color as well. I may need to order that too!
I paired the look with fringe detailed skinny jeans and subtle camel booties. The entire look is seriously one of the easiest mom-styles to put together, and oh so perfect for this season.
I can’t wait to share more with you about my Fall finds, and this Friday I will be teasing my Instagram followers with a couple sneak peaks of the house. So, if you don’t already, be sure to follow me (@thatndgirl) on Instagram. And be sure to check out this blouse from Pink Blush!
Until next time,
xo
