Happy hump day!
We are still camped out in small town Minnesota, while J finishes up a job and I am in a total funk. Yesterday, Lewi and I had a long nap and it just felt like we were in a warped universe for the rest of the day!
Today, J met us for lunch at a sweet little spot downtown and it was so good! I love finding treasures in small towns. It really feels special while we’re making memories.
Today is the first of three looks that all utilize the same accessory.. I hope you enjoy!
SCARF | JACKET | SWEATSHIRT | JEANS | HEELS | SATCHEL | POM | SUNGLASSES
There are so many things I love about this blanket scarf. The color for starters! I love lavender right now. It’s such a perfect transition piece from winter to spring. This one is so soft and just amazing, which is why I have chosen this piece to style three different ways!
Remember that post about leather/faux leather jackets a bit ago? Well, I found this jacket last week and fell in love with the light sand color. It’s so timeless and can be dressed up or down. Plus, it’s on SALE!
Another accessory I am currently crushing on is this satchel! I’m usually a designer bag kind of girl, but after I outgrew the style of some of my old designers, I sold them! So, my handbag collection is currently very sad.. This bag isn’t designer, but it is very simple and classy. I love the size and like that I can fit all my essentials in it (meaning no more diaper bag!!).
The little pom adds so much sass, I just LOVE it! Plus, I love that it’s all the colors that aren’t supposed to be worn together. I secretly LOVE navy and black together.. Definitely going to explore more of that this next fall!
I technically got my sunnies last year, so I linked them to the updated style! But, I love them. I love sunglasses. I wear these ones all the time, and think they’re worth the investment. I definitely think they are one of the accessories you can invest in, but also I think it’s fun to experiment with shape so you don’t necessarily have to spend an arm and a leg on EVERY pair.
I have been just so gitty with all the NYFW posts, and I feel like I’m missing out on so much when I don’t get to experience that life. My looks this week have taken a small inspiration from the looks of fashion week. It is on my bucket list to attend in the next five years, and I hope you’ll follow along with me!
Are you inspired by NYFW? What are some of the designer shows you’d love to attend?
