Hello Lovely!
This post wasn’t actually supposed to come out until next week, but I’m nervous that a couple items may sell out fast.
Knowing this, I decided to jump the gun a little.
Before we get into the season of giving and receiving, I wanted to share some life updates with you!
This week I am at what the Doctors have decided is 35 weeks, but I beg to differ. I have been the most uncomfortable pregnant lady ever! My original date was changed due to the baby being small on the percentile, but Lewi has never been about 20% on any chart. To me, I am 36 weeks, but must just accept their change.
I have my first internal exam this week (tomorrow, actually), and will be able to see if I’ve dilated or effaced at all! It’s also the week of the Group B strep test. I explained the process to my little sister and she almost puked! It was the funniest thing. I guess as a mom, I’m not too phased about any of the internal testing or swabs that happen. It’s all part of the journey!
Lately, I have been taking to Instagram to ask my followers for some advice.. what color should my hair be? what would you like to see more of on the blog? when should I give Justin a specific gift?.. and so on. I have actually really appreciated the feedback I’ve gotten, and the DMs (direct messages) are greatly valued! Connecting with my readers and followers is something I love, so why not ask them what they want to see more of?
I have actually taken most of the advice I’ve received and it has really sparked my passion to get back to the blog. I haven’t felt this motivated in a while. I’ve found myself really lagging behind with posts, and it’s not intentional! I just haven’t been feeling the posts I’ve created lately. Blogging is hard work, you guys. I want to present myself in a certain way, and I want to tickle the fancy of my readers!
For this reason, I am going to do a relaunch as the new year comes around. I will be putting more focus on my life as a mom and give more insight on my littles. I will still touch on fashion once a week or so, so don’t get too bummed if you’re here for the style tips and tricks!
There are great things coming to That ND Girl, and I am so excited to share them with you!
Now, getting that out of the way let’s see what I’m adding to my list for her.
This list is for any woman in your life. Maybe you don’t know what to get your sister, mom, or bestie. Or, maybe you don’t know what to ask for!! No worries, I have you covered!
a) letter board (12 x12) (16 x 20) b) SONICARE toothbrush c) blanket scarf d) TARTE brush set e) FREE PEOPLE thermal f) LORAC palette g) glass vases h) GloPRO i) shiplap mug j) throw blanket
If you’ve been on any social media lately, or watch an HGTV, you will know how popular letter boards have become! I included both sizes in this post, as I will be ordering some 12×12 options for gifts. I ordered the 16×20 version for myself for less than $30!! If you follow letterfolk you’ll know that this is still a steal! Those boards of the same size range between $125 and $160!
My husband and I share a Sonicare toothbrush. That sounds gross, but it has interchangeable heads! I didn’t think I needed one, but when he travels only one of us can have the Sonicare and the other has to go with an “old fashioned” version. Of course I have thought about getting my own toothbrush… I’m not that crazy. I just always forget about it, so maybe if I put it on my Christmas list somebody else will help me out!
I love this blanket scarf and the fact that it’s like $15. You can NEVER have too many scarves, and in this state they are much appreciated!
The brush-set by Tarte Cosmetics looks really amazing, and I know of a couple ladies that would LOVE a new brush-set for the holiday season.
Of course, my ever loving thermal by Free People made the list. I want it in every single color! I’m literally wearing it as I type. It’s just the best thermal, and I think any of my female relatives or friends would love to add it to their closet.
The next item is the Mega PRO Palette 4 by Lorac and I can honestly say that I LOVE mine! I got it about a month ago, and I have done so many different color combinations and techniques with the same palette that I’ve surprised myself. I get a little excited every time I do my eyes because I want to try a new combination every time! The pigment is so true and beautiful. This is a great gift for your bestie!
The glass vases with the bronze ring are part of the Hearth & Hand collection at Target by Chip and Joanna Gaines. I am a big fan! To be honest, I’ve never met anyone that wasn’t a fan of the Gaines family and their Magnolia brand.. I mean you’d have to be blind to not love their style! Anyway, these vases would be amazing to add to any room in any style home. They’re not specific to a certain anything, really. I think they would be amazing make-up brush holders!
The next shiny gift on this list is the GloPRO Microneedling Regeneration Tool & Eye MicroTip Set by Beauty Bioscience. I’ve never done microneedling before, but I have heard AMAZING things about it. This is a limited edition version in Rose Gold exclusive to Nordstrom and is valued around $329, it’s priced at $249. It is definitely a splurge, but this is a great gift I would LOVE to open on Christmas morning from Santa.. or my husband, I’m not picky! I love that this set comes with all the products you need to use the tool, so you don’t have to buy them separately. I think I may be treating myself to this beauty for some postpartum pampering.
Obviously my love for Joanna Gaines runs deep. This mug is hilarious because it’s not something you would actually ever hear out of the mouth of the sweetest Mrs. Gaines. It’s more sarcastic and well… me. I like that it combines the two personalities!
Last, but not least, I love getting throw blankets! They are so simple, but so appreciated. I never mind getting cozy on the couch with one of these!
I hope you found some ideas on this list, and I promise to update as soon as the letter board becomes available again!
Have a great night,
xo Tay
