Hello Lovely!
I hope you’re having a great week, so far! The best news is that tomorrow is Friday. Only one more day!
This weekend is the Fall Junk Market here in Fargo, and I’m so pumped to see all the re-purposed designs!
It will be a great way to end a busy week in the life of Lewi’s mom. He’s definitely kept me on my toes all week and has no remorse about his toddler tactics! It’s like he doesn’t even care that I’m doing this full-time mom thing while going to school full-time…
I’m obviously joking. I love that little stinker to death, but he is so busy sometimes! It’s like anytime I find the time to clean, he’s right behind me with his grabby hands finding new treasures that he forgot he had. How is it that they won’t play in a messy room, but as soon as it’s clean they want all the toys?
Oh, and his little personality is really showing through lately. The facial expressions are priceless and to be honest, I have no idea how he can move all the muscles in his face! He plays by himself with the best imagination. His reactions of yelling or crying always jump me to my feet, running to see if there is something wrong. No, he’s just a good actor. 🙂
Today, I am sharing one of my absolute favorite sweaters for the season! It’s a combination of candy corn and black, and I’m in love with it.
Sweater: Hem&Thread (out of this color) | Jeans: American Eagle | Boots: Dolce Vita (old), Similar | Scarf: Onyx+Pearl, Here (color sold out)
Fedora: Forever 21 | Earrings: Onyx+Pearl, Similar
Of course, I found the exact sweater and scarf on different sites in different colors!
I love this sweater, and seeing that it comes in three other prints makes me consider grabbing the black with white stripes on the arms! One side note on this sweater: It should be washed on cold and hang-dried. Do not put it in the dryer, it will shrink. There was a little communication error on my part, and Justin may have put my sweater in the dryer. It’s not ruined or anything, just needs to be stretched over the baby bump!
I honestly can’t say enough good things about these jeans! I was under the impression that I needed to start buying more expensive denim, and break my habit of running to American Eagle. These jeans prove that theory wrong on so many levels! They are so perfect for pregnancy, yes I had to go up one size from normal (for reference, I’m wearing a size 4 short), but the stretch fabric is so comfortable. I also love this wash and style. There are patches behind all the distressed fabric, so there is no skin exposure!
I love the look of sweaters and over-the-knee boots. These boots are from last year, and they no longer make the style. I love that they’re a little more roomy than other styles so I can wear them with jeans. My suggestion for buying over-the-knee boots from any brand is to go up half a size. I don’t know why they make them this way, but I always have to go up half a size!
My scarf and earrings are both from the downtown Fargo boutique Onyx+Pearl. It is officially one of my favorite places to shop! If you’re in the area, I suggest checking it out.
I hope you enjoy the first official day of Fall (tomorrow!), and get a chance to hit up some good shopping!
