Beautiful, warm days like this pull at my heart-strings for spring weather. Now, don’t go and take out your Birkenstocks yet! There’s already a chance of snow again this week, so we don’t want to get ahead of ourselves.
You should however go ahead and start picking out your spring weather closet staples! For me, one of those staples for the 2017 year will be off the shoulder tops!
Yesterday, I talked about the ever trending bell sleeve look. Luckily, both styles go pretty hand-in-hand this season. I like that this top features both styles and is so lightweight. The linen material is so nautical and Nantucket-worthy; I really should be standing on a sailboat instead of in front of a train depot!
To girly-up the look, I paired my soft pink Kate Spade and bright red earrings. These are also Baublebar dupes and on major sale! The red accent against the blue is so fresh and clean. Also, this shade of red is so perfect for spring/summer fashion because it’s bright and light at the same time. Fourth of July earrings? Possibly.
To keep some edge in the look, I paired some light wash ripped skinnies with chunky peep-toe booties. It really gives an effortless appeal to the overall ensemble. And let my hair be messy, so I didn’t look too put together! (Notice that grown out undercut?)
Those sunnies add a touch of sophistication.. Really, I’m just digging the entire thing… Can’t wait to add some more off the shoulder selections to my closet!
