Something I really love to do is…. DECORATE!!
I love changing the appearance of a room, whether it be from something as small as adding picture frames or as big as new furniture. Of course I am currently limited to bigger changes due to living in tighter quarters!! Buuuut… I am okay with that!
Apartment living is great when you’re just starting out and your kids are small! (It’s easier to stack them on top of each other… just kidding!) It makes it possible to save your hard earned dollars in order to make that down payment on your first house.
We are currently in our second apartment together and it actually feels like home, that is something we lacked in our first place… Plus this place is a bit nicer and has more of an open concept layout, which is perfect for Lewi’s age! (now my living room, dining room, and kitchen are just extensions of his “play area” 😉 )
Anyway, back to my actual post…
I purchased these frames from HomeGoods last week and I love ALL of them! (The solid gold isn’t from this purchase, but it was also purchased from HomeGoods last summer.)
The only things missing from this set up are pictures! You need pictures to fill the frames… duh, Taylor. Well luckily there is a great sale going on over at Snapfish and I was able to order 600 pictures for $0.01/print! (sale here)
Also, I love my end tables pushed together like this! I had the idea when I was rearranging the living room for the Christmas tree and decided to keep it for a while! (I actually refurbished the tables from their original glory, along with my coffee table and dining room table!)
I just love how feminine and soft the overall look is! Now I just need some throw pillows and blankets to coordinate. 😉
xo, Tay

It all looks SO cute! I live in an apartment too and am trying to make it feel more cozy and cute. I love the idea of pushing those tables together! And, where did you get those lamps?!

Thank you so much! I actually got the lamps at Target. It was a while ago, but they still have them on the site! I believe there is a link attached to the caption underneath one of the pictures!
