Hello, lovelies!
I don’t have anything as exciting to announce as last week, and we are still waiting for the rest of our family session to comeback before I can share more pictures with you! However, we had a crazy final week of May and I thought I’d recap a little bit with you!
Last Tuesday, Lewi got to go home with his Gigi and left his Mommy Lewi-less until Thursday night. On Thursday night I joined him at my parents’ house so we could all go to the North Dakota State High School Track Meet together on both Friday and Saturday. My youngest sister competed both days and placed in the high jump event.
I am SO proud of her. You guys, she’s only 5’3″ and can jump 5’1″. How impressive is that!? I am so happy that we got to go cheer her on in one of the biggest highlights of her high school career.
Unfortunately, Lewi ran a low-grade fever Wednesday-Sunday, so we decided against taking him with us to the State meet on Saturday. He got to spend the day with some of my aunts and his extended cousins. He had a blast! I have the Snapchat evidence. 🙂

As if the going to State track wasn’t enough excitement for one weekend, North Dakota seems to think that stressing out every high school senior mom is necessary, so naturally we had Graduation on Sunday.
My sister, Sydni, graduated with honors on Sunday afternoon. I cried. I’m pregnant though, so I think I’m entitled to a few tears at the thought of my little sister growing up!
She looked absolutely beautiful and we had a great time celebrating her accomplishments from the last eighteen years. Her open-house featured a Cream Soda keg, corn dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, and an overall carnival theme! We ate and drank to our tummies’ limits and played yard games when it wasn’t raining. We stood around a bonfire and listened to stories from our “elders”. It was a great end to the weekend.

I woke up on Tuesday forgetting it wasn’t Monday. We satisfied our palettes with Buffalo Wild Wings last night. And this morning I woke up to June.
Summer is just beginning and I couldn’t be anymore pumped to dive-in headfirst.
Next week, be ready to dive right back into the good stuff, with ideas for Father’s Day, styling tips, and OH YEAH, the bump. 🙂
