Good morning, lovelies!

I hope you had a fantastic weekend, I know I did! Full of family and friends and laughter and junking!
Well, I didn’t actually go junking. You see, I really really enjoy repurposed/vintage decor. I really can’t get enough.. It’s a problem.
Anyway, I go to “junk” markets and shows year ’round to find new pieces for each new season (and my ever changing taste for new decor).. Luckily, there’s a little shop located in Mayville, North Dakota that makes and repurposes the BEST stuff! I am always SO pleasantly surprised with what they come up with and know I will always find something to add to my “collection.”
This weekend, we drove the 40 odd miles to Mayville and came back with some great pieces! (I will do a little reveal when I have decided where each piece will go.)
For today’s look. I decided to do an “Ode to Joanna Gaines” with my Magnolia Market merch. in the spirit of my vintage decor!
I got my top from a dear friend for Christmas this year. She’s the sweetest and understands my love for the Gaines family and all their amazing businesses! I can’t wait for my first trip to Waco, TX just to visit Magnolia Farm’s many curiosities..
I had to add a little color to this very neutral blouse, so I decided to pair it with my current favorite skirt. I love how the wind picks it up just right, and the length is appropriate enough to avoid any Marilyn moments.
These rain booties will come in handy a little more as we experience the wonders of spring rain and puddles.
These sunnies are borrowed from J… I do that a lot. (Fun fact: the style name of these Ray-Ban sunnies is Justin. How ironic? I think that’s hilarious!)
I hope this look is Joanna approved! What do you think?
xo, Tay

Tay,
I love this post so much! Seriously, when you go to Texas, you HAVE to take a ton of pictures!! I am sooooo jealous.
I love that skirt, but I hate my legs. if you have so amazing tips for people with icky dry legs, I would love to read about it. Especially, since summer is right around the corner.
Thanks! 🙂

Thanks so much, Christie. I love that idea for a post and definitely see that coming in the near future! It’s the best time to start getting our skin ready for the sun. 😉
