Seasons Greetings Lovely,
It’s that time of year already!!
Winter has come. The forecast has been snow. Snow. Snow. And more snow.
Justin went on a hunting trip for what felt like an entire month. He’s finally back so I no longer have to take on the responsibilities of shoveling and attempting to use the snowblower. My efforts were not pretty. He makes it look so easy, but it definitely is harder than it looks!
He’s such a sweetie. He always snow blows our neighbor’s driveways and sidewalks too. He never wants anyone to have to go to the trouble of doing more work than what’s needed. I guess you could say it is his way of giving back to our community.
Which brings me to today’s topic at hand.
Can you believe we are already in the season of giving!? I feel like I was just starting to name all the things to be thankful for, but I was cut short with Thanksgiving and the rest of life’s crazy curve balls.
In the spirit of giving this holiday season, Gordmans has partnered with St. Jude to raise money to help fight childhood cancers and pediatric diseases. What a fantastic way to get into the true meaning of the season!!
Gordmans is an off-retailer. An off-retailer buys excess inventory from department and specialty stores, to sell at greatly reduced prices. Which means they have great options for holiday decor, gifting, and traditions.
They have SO much to use for holiday decorating! Tree dressings, holiday decor, and so much more. It’s easy to get festive with everything they have to offer, and at such reasonable prices!
You can check gifts off your entire list at one stop. Though, it’s tough not to forget about your list and treat yo’ self!! See what I mean in this post.
You can get involved by simply using a hashtag on Instagram! For every Instagram post using the hashtag #BearsThatCare (posted through Dec. 31) Gordmans will donate $1 to St. Jude. And that is at no charge to you!
If you want to get a little more involved, Gordmans will be selling a teddy bear named Bella (pictured) at $9.98 and $2 dollars from every sale is donated to St. Jude. Or, you can choose to donate another amount at the cash register when checking out.
xo,
Tay
More on St. Jude —
Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food—because all they should worry about is helping their child live. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent since it opened more than 50 years ago. “St. Jude is working to drive the overall survival rate to 90 percent, and we won’t stop until no child dies from cancer…”
