Hello, Lovely!
It’s Thursday, and as I type this, it is muuuuuuch later than it’s supposed to be!
This post should have been done early this morning. I should have finished it last night, but life. It was a late night with tiny toes kicking from inside my belly by a sweet little one and outside by a crazy sleeping toddler! The heartburn was an added bonus.
Needless to say, it’s been a “great” start to a really busy day.
J finally comes home this evening, and it will be the first time I’ve seen him since Sunday night! I’m so excited to see that handsome face, that I think I may include him in my post tomorrow.. Have you guessed what’s coming yet? Here’s a hint: It’s going to benefit you!
While you contemplate that, I am going to go ahead with today’s look.

Some occasions call for attire in between casual and dressy, like a bridal shower or family birthday party. My go-to look is feminine and understated. You’re there to celebrate someone else and don’t want to take any attention away from them!
The key to achieving this look: neutrals.
I’m the kind of girl that has more neutrals than she needs, and there is a reason for that!
Neutrals don’t typically fall into a certain season or style category. You’re able to accessorize them for any event, any season, and any garment! They’re easy to coordinate, and always look fresh.
Luckily, neutrals aren’t held to the standard black, brown, navy, and white anymore. Some of my favorite neutrals include blush/mauve, gold, and olive. Not your typical black and white, but definitely do the same job!
When you’re doubting your wardrobe and don’t know exactly what you want to wear, I suggest starting with a neutral, like this dull blush romper. In keeping the look feminine and understated, I accessorized with neutrals in the same tone. This keeps the focus on the entirety of the look instead of having a sole focal point, which keeps the overall look understated!
I think this may be the last time I wear a romper this year, as the bump grows and my urge to pee becomes unfathomable. I hope you enjoyed this small tip on dressing feminine. If you have any questions or if there is anything you’d like me to talk about on the blog please feel free to let me know in the comments or shoot me an email!
Until tomorrow,
xo, Tay
