Today we finally put the tree away.
My apartment is a complete mess and Lewi still has no clothes on. But, I got to spend most of this three day weekend watching movies and being lazy with my boys. It was fantastic. When I did accomplish a couple things today Justin helped me by bringing all the holiday totes to and from the garage and shoveling the walkway.
Putting away Christmas felt good this year.. It was such an odd year. We had a big storm on Christmas Day that left most of the small towns back where we celebrated without power. Luckily, we never had to go without, but the storm did keep some loved ones away for the holidays (my father-in-law being one of them) and what fun is that!?
It just didn’t feel like Christmas this year.. It may have something to do with the way I started celebrating Christmas in October…. I doubt it though. 😉
Anyway, it felt good to take down the tree and put away the decorations.. and now I get to plan some new arrangements to mix some new items I picked up recently! Can’t wait to show you all!
How was your Christmas?
