Happy hump Day!
I literally cringe at the capitalization of “h” in saying hump day, so I try to make sure its lowercase-d. I’m a dork, I know.
Anyway, hello my lovelies! I hope you’ve had a good week thus far. How many of you celebrated Mardi Gras yesterday and pigged out? I know I did. Thank you JL Beers…
Today, as most of you will know is Ash Wednesday! We will be attending Mass tonight, and I’m so excited for Lewi to get that cross rubbed onto his forehead! He’s so much more aware this year and it should be fun to see what his reaction will be. ๐
In honor of this day, I have decided to share my new fave “ash” sweater. I love the color.. it’s grey. Of course I love it.

The mock neck is exactly what I need when I want to wear a turtleneck-like style because of my bigger chest. Actual turtlenecks swallow me up and it’s not a pretty outcome! I’ve tried the trend time and time again, and it’s always the same outcome. Not cute.
The length of this sweater is supposed to be a mid-drift style, so I sized up with the knowledge that my chest would take up more room than the design forecast-ed. But, I like the fit and the comfort-ability! It will look better when my momma belly is a little flatter. ๐
Pairing sneakers and a baseball cap with an otherwise feminine look adds that bit of sporty-vibe taking the look from girly to street. These sneakers are pretty much sold out everywhere, but I found a site that still has a bunch of sizes left! I suggest sizing up half to a full size!
Also, taking about finds.. I found my exact satchel online! It’s even $100 less than what I got it for! Definitely worth checking out, I also linked an inspired style at a fraction of the price, so there are definitely options. ๐
I hope you all have a fantastic Ash Wednesday, I’d love to hear what your plans are for this holy day of obligation! Let me know in the comments!
xo, Tay
