Hello Lovely!
It’s finally Friday. Has this week felt long to anybody else?
On Wednesday, we had our family vehicle serviced and went through the inconvenience of having a compact rental for 24 hours. I mean, it could have been a lot worse, but it was a headache and a half. I hate when things don’t go as planned with a dealership, but our vehicle is now back and fully functioning. We were having Air Conditioning issues. Of course it fell on the last hot week of the year, but what ever. It’s fixed and one less thing we have to worry about!
On that same day, I had my 27 week check-up and gestational diabetes testing. My test results came back as negative to any abnormalities, and I get to go another pregnancy without constant blood sugar checks and insulin shots! I am very grateful for that.
As preparing for this fall, I noticed that little by little the color silver was popping onto my Instagram feed. As predicted by the fall fashion shows of 2017, silver is slowing coming back into play. By next year, it may be the new rose gold! (That’s pretty doubtful, but hey it could happen.)
I, for one, do like the look of silver. Ninety-percent of my jewelry falls under the gold category, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon; however, I would like to start adding silver to my closet in other forms. That initiated the focus on today’s post!

This list includes pieces big and small. There are options for whatever silver comfort your heart desires!
A very popular silver piece to add to your closet is a pleated skirt. Take number three from this list for example, it is feminine and classic. The silhouette is simple and romantic and actually goes with pretty much any fashion style. This would be the most versatile piece to add to your closet!
If you’re not sure about going for silver, try something less flashy like this Essie nail polish or this Laura Geller illuminating highlighter.
For a little more silver confidence try implementing the trend into your wardrobe with a handbag or pair of shoes. The examples from the list would be great places to start with pieces that can easily by styled with countless ensembles!
Of course, you can always add silver into your wardrobe with jewelry. Make it flashy and your golden.. or should I say silver? 🙂
If you’re really into the trend, I encourage you to flaunt a look with silver lipstick or eyeliner. These fierce examples can all be found at Ulta, so keep your eyes peeled!
I hope you found some inspiration from this post.
Have a great weekend!
