6 Beauty Products I Can’t Live Without…

Happy Monday!

I hope everyone is recovering from “Springing Forward” this last weekend. I know we are all still adjusting in the Magee house!

Today I have Lewi and another baby keeping me on my toes. Every time I am feeding or changing the baby, Lewi is taking every item out of her diaper bag, spilling her baby Tylenol all over the floor, or sneaking cookies. I guess I really do have a toddler on my hands…

So, as they both nap I decided to share some of my absolute FAVORITE beauty products.

MISS DIOR | MASCARA | EYE SHADOW PALETTE | PRIMER | BRONZER | LIPSTICK | SLIDE-ONS

I have been asked on a couple different occasions to share some of my go-to makeup items by a few readers and I’ve just been putting it off. Buuuuut, today I am going to finally share some of the best products I’ve ever used!

Let me start with the product I have been a customer of for the longest.. Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet is the perfume I currently use. I originally used Miss Dior Cherie, but this scent was discontinued.. They say that they just changed the labeling by dropping “Cherie” on the bottle and making that scent the “original” Miss Dior. I disagree with this story because I do not like the original Miss Dior. I had been using this perfume since I was 15 years old, so I was really disappointed to have to change scents. After one year of trying a new scent, Dior released their Blooming Bouquet addition to the Miss Dior line, and I found the perfume I’d been missing! It is every bit as beautiful and feminine as Miss Dior Cherie. It is my signature scent, and probably my most loved beauty product. (I, luckily, had a tiny amount saved in my last bottle of Miss Dior Cherie to wear on my wedding day. It was perfect, and Justin noticed it right away. It was just one of those moments when I knew how much he loved and appreciated me.)

My second favorite beauty product on this list is most definitely my mascara! I have been using SUPERHERO by IT Cosmetics since last May. It hasn’t even been a year and I can tell you that I LOVE it! I used to use Big Fatty by Urban Decay, but like my favorite scent that was discontinued too… This mascara has a thick bristle wand and just really does the job of false eyelashes without having to actually wear falsies. It lengthens and multiplies the number of lashes I naturally have. I just love everything it does to illuminate my eyes!

The third beauty item I am sharing is my current favorite eye-shadow palette. I use a couple different palettes and single shadows, but the one I use the most often is the NAKED ULTIMATE BASICS Palette by Urban Decay. I love the light matte shades there are to choose from. If you’re more into the girly but natural look, I would definitely recommend this palette. Also, the “Blow” shadow doubles as an amazing highlighter! (Pro tip: Burgundy and burnt orange shades make blue eyes pop, which makes this palette all the better.)

The fourth choice on this beauty list is actually a bit of a surprise for me. When I started my Arbonne cleanse there was a deal going on that I could choose one product from the website for free. I asked my consultant what is one thing she couldn’t live without from the company, and she ordered me the primer. I use the Makeup Primer by Arbonne every. single. day. It is absolutely AMAZING! You can wear it with light makeup or a full-on face. It really really helps with any foundation I’ve used in the last two months. I actually don’t have a favorite foundation at this point. I also am in the market for a really good concealer. But, no matter what foundation I choose, I know it will be based with this primer. (They run out of this all the time, so be sure to order it right away if you want to try it out!)

 

Fifth in line is my newest favorite bronzer! I am in actual LOVE with BEACHED BRONZER by Urban Decay in the shade “Bronzed“.  I know that I will be able to continue using this into and throughout the summer. You know those times when you get a great sun-kissed tan, but your foundation is now a shade too light? That is when you NEED a great bronzer, and this one is exactly it. I used to use, and probably still will, A Little Sun All-Over Face Color by bareMinerals. It is just a little bit heavier than the Beached Bronzer, so it’s better if you’re going for more of a defined look.

My sixth beauty product to share with you today contains two different shades of lipstick! I. Love. Lipstick. but… I feel like I can NEVER wear it because as soon as I put it on, J will try to give me a big smooch and ruin it. Or Lewi will be wearing something light colored and give me a big baby hug. And you know how it is.. you have to snuggle them right back because they’re perfect and never have time to give you hugs anymore. Embrace every hug. Anyway, my two favorite shades are currently from the Urban Decay Vice lipstick line. I like the creamy feeling of the lipstick with the matte finish. I really love this line, but I promise I’m not opposed to other brands. I just currently own a lot of Urban Decay. 🙂 The two shades on this list are Hex and Backtalk. Hex is for your inner bad girl, and backtalk is perfect for any feminine wardrobe!

I added my new current obsession as a bonus to this list. I just recently purchased these Softey Slide sandals by STEVE MADDEN in Light Pink and I canNOT wait to style and wear them around! They are going to make for the best pool side slide-ons.
