Hello Gobblers!!
Happy “Friday” of Thanksgiving Week!
Don’t worry, I know that it’s actually Wednesday, but who isn’t treating today as their Friday!?
I am so excited because today is the Eve of my twenty-fourth birthday, and I couldn’t be anymore blessed in this life I live.
Mom of two, almost three, married to the love of my life, and in our sweet little starter home. What more could I ask for?
Easy, I couldn’t!
Sunday evening, I brought you some ideas to add to your holiday wish list.
Yesterday, I brought you some great ideas for all the men in your life.
Today, I am bringing you the list that I actually get most excited about! We are going over my toddler gift wish list for the 2018 season of giving.
So, this is the guide I have actually been using myself. There are gifts already purchased, gifts I have on my to-buy list, and gift ideas I will be including in their lists for grandparents and aunts and uncles!

Do you not just find yourself falling in love with all the little things!?
This is the first year I am really focusing on TRULY supporting and shopping small businesses. There are a bunch of Etsy shops that just have the BEST gift ideas.
I included two of my current favorite shops in this post.
I ordered a BUNCH of pieces from Dose Pastel. It is a small Etsy shop owned by a momma of two little girls in Quebec, Canada. She offers a number of handmade items for babies and toddlers. I ordered a few Christmas bows (Finish 2, Finish 3, & Vintage Christmas) and a lovey for Cecelia and bandana bibs and burp rags for Baby Boy. I think I will be ordering this deer lovey for the baby after all my Christmas shopping is done. She’s having some great Black Friday deals in her shop right now so I advise checking it out! Most are small and would make great stocking stuffers – I will have a post dedicated to stocking stuffers in the coming weeks so stay tuned.

The second Etsy shop I am sharing with you today is Made By Syl. Sylwia is located in Podlaski, Poland and creates the sweetest handmade dolls! They are comparable to dolls like Pockets with Posies, but come at a way more affordable price (custom PWP doll orders start at $275 and currently have a 3 year waiting list). I just ordered Cecelia’s first doll for her birthday next month and am hoping to snag another friend for Christmas. Made by Syl is updated with new doll releases once or twice a week (Wednesdays and some Saturdays). Remember shipping takes a bit longer when coming from overseas, so if you’re interested in a doll for your little I would take a look at what is in shop now!

Of course I know not everyone is into small shop styles, so I made sure to include a few staple items.
We used to have a play mat set-up in Lewi’s room, but I just did not love it. It was large and bulky and oh so heavy! This last year I have been scouting for the best solution to this play mat fiasco and was delighted to find this one by Skip Hop. It has been on my Amazon shopping list for about six months now, and the price has finally dropped a little just in time for Christmas. Cha-ching! “Added to shopping cart.” I love the colors and different pattern designs you’re able to create with the pieces!
Obviously our children are always growing, so we need to make necessary purchases to accommodate those size changes. I usually get new boots for Lewi every Christmas. Last year we got him Sorel boots and we LOVED them, so I am looking at this pair for this year. Both Justin and I wear Sorel winter boots and love the quality, so we knew that they would be a good fit for our kids. One way we are saving money is by purchasing only neutral colored boots so they can be worn by all the kids as their feet grow!
Another great boot for the transitioning seasons (Fall and Spring) are rain boots. Lewi really loves his Hunter rain boots! They are the shoes he chooses to wear when he’s getting dressed. Unfortunately he has grown out of his newest pair (he’s had two pairs, thus far), so new Hunter boots are on his Christmas list. Again, a great way to save money on these boots is to buy them in gender neutral colors (navy, black, green, red, and yellow) so all your kids can get great use out of them!
The last item I am going to mention is this sweet little polar bear by Cuddle+Kind. In the season of giving, it is WONDERFUL to give back to those in need. For every doll purchased, Cuddle+Kind donates 10 meals to children in need located here in the USA and around the world. They support organizations such as World Food Program USA, Children’s Hunger Fund, and WE Charity School Nutrition Program. In this gift you’re not just making your own child happy, you’re feeding someone else’s child as well. Talk about the Spirit of Christmas!
I hope you found some fun ideas on this guide and have a blast shopping for your littles like I do every year.
Happy Thanksgiving!!
