Hey, hey Santa Bae-bae!
Yesterday, I brought you my holiday gift guide for her.
Today, I’m going to give you the holiday gift guide for HIM!
Now, we couldn’t have a dedicated Midwest girl post and leave out the men. So, this gift list is for him, the Midwest man!
I am married to one of these men.
He enjoys the outdoors.
In the summer time he likes to grill, play softball, hangout with family, socialize with friends, and hit the lake hard.
In the fall he loves to spend his time hunting deer. Everything he does revolves around it. Whether he’s spotting (scouting), checking trailcams, setting-up tree stands, plotting and bating, or practicing his archery skills, he is dedicating his free-time to the hunt.
In the winter, he is snow-blowing the driveway, shoveling the walk-ways, downhill skiing, cozy-ing up next to his wife and kids on the couch with a big mug of cocoa, and delighting in holiday festivities.
Between winter and summer, there is about a week of spring because we live in North Dakota. One year it snowed on the eighth of May. We don’t do a lot of things in the spring. Unless you count hitting up the Red River Zoo! (But we kind of do that all year-round. As crazy as it sounds, the Zoo is open all year long in Fargo. This Friday begins the Holiday Nights festival. Every Thursday and Friday night until Christmas, they will hold this after regular hours festival.)
This man is selfless, hard-working, loving, and fun to be around. He deserves to get a present he will enjoy to open and put to good use.
So, I created this gift guide for him. He’s earned it.

If you can afford a splurge gift this year, I highly recommend looking into YETI coolers. The YETI Tundra Haul Cooler (retail $400) is portable and capable of rolling over sand, rocks, grass, and unpaved paths. It is perfect for any guy that spends his summer playing softball or camping.
Another splurge gift to consider is a soundbar. This SoundTouch soundbar by Bose (retail $549) produces the sound of a five-speaker system and is wireless! We have a Bose soundbar, and it is the BOMB! The sound quality is honestly top-notch. It was one of our more expensive purchases in the beginning of our marriage, and we don’t regret it a single bit. The fact that this one is wireless has me questioning whether or not it’s too soon for an upgrade!
Not into the splurge gifts for the holidays? No big deal!
If your guy enjoys the outdoors, but your budget doesn’t allow for any large splurge don’t fret! Check out this Quest Flat Fold Wagon (retail $50). It’s perfect for hauling equipment, coolers, and chairs. It is collapsible, pulls easily, and the handle extends to different lengths. It’s a great price for such a hot item.
Another great item is this Coleman RoadTrip Propaine Party Grill (retail $40). This is a great gift for any guy in your life! Especially if you’re struggling to find the perfect gift for your little brother.
Clothing always comes with a nice sentiment, but can seem a little less personal if it’s not exactly right for the guy you’re gifting. Luckily, there are classic styles that will be greatly appreciated by any guy. Some of these include: a quarter-button pullover, cozy joggers, and warm, comfy slippers. The three examples listed are all of great quality created by great brands.
Cold weather accessories are perfect to round off any holiday gift, and they are never not appreciated. Neither are gifts that include a little booze, so drink up and add a decanter or maybe a bottle opener. Last year, my siblings and I got my dad a similar hanging bottle opener. It made a great gift.
Whatever you decide to gift the special men in your life, know that it really is the thought that counts. Gifts are great, but love is unconditional.
Tomorrow is all about the littles!
