I hope you’re enjoying designer dupe week, so far. I know Louis Vuitton is usually the most sought after design style, but I thought it would be fun to find dupes for some of my favorite designer styles!
Today, I want to share a dupe for my newest designer bag. For Christmas this year, Justin decided to surprise me with a Celine Mini Luggage Bag. He purchased it from Olive Street’s Designer Vault, here in Fargo. I was in SHOCK when I opened it!! I really had no idea.
This bag is the sleekest, chicest design and carried by high-esteemed bloggers and even celebrities! I found a couple similar designed dupes, but then I came across these. They’re almost EXACTLY the same. They do not include the designer logo, keeping them dupes and not crossing the line to replicas.
I included two sizes of bags, the smaller (black and white) is worn crossbody – so chic. The solid black looks closer to the size of mine.
The price difference speaks for itself. The larger solid black dupe is priced at $89 compared to the real Celine Mini Luggage Bag that retails for $3100 brand new. The smaller black and white style is priced at $25.61 compared to the real Celine Nano Luggage Bag that retails for $2,700 brand new. Talk about a KILLER savings to get basically the same look!
Dupes aren’t only restricted to handbags though. For me, personally, shoe dupes are where I get my buying high!
I am a HUGE designer bag snob. So, I am much more interested in the real deal, when it comes to bags. I don’t know where this passion came from, but it’s just the way I am now. Ha!
Designer dupes are something I always look into when I’m shoe shopping because I’m so rough on my shoes. The label on my feet is much less important to me. I’m not saying this won’t change some day, but for now this is how I feel. As long as they’re the style I’m going for, I’m cool with whatever.
One designer shoe style I can’t justify the price for are Golden Goose sneakers. They’re basic sneakers with a star that are designed to look dirty and worn. And the real kicker, they’ll set you back some $500. What. No. Not this girl. I can’t buy into it. That’s why I am always looking for alternative designs to fit this style without breaking the bank.
I was so psyched to find these Golden Goose dupes, and get this. They’re $30. Not even one-tenth of the designer shoe cost. They’re a great basic, not too loud or showy. I think they would do the exact job as any Golden Goose sneaker.
Another highly sought after designer shoe style is the Gucci Princetown Leather Slipper. Basically a leather loafer mule with classic lines and chic design. They’re very versatile, going with any style or outfit. They are also very copied. You can basically get a version of this style from any shoemaker.
Because they are so saturated in the market, it can be hard to decide which brand to purchase from. I found these almost exact dupes of the Gucci Princetown on Amazon for $32.98. I ordered them. I’ll review them myself when they come in, but all the Amazon feedback looks pretty promising. (I also ordered these Steve Madden mules for Valentine’s Day and just got them today, they’re absolutely just as perfect in person as they look online.)
