Good Morning, lovely!
It’s Tuesday and the Magee house is still being plagued by the flu. Last night J had the unfortunate pleasure of sleeping on the bathroom floor. Mr. Lew woke up this morning covered in a fluid that I won’t go into detail about and my house is still being sterilized one lysol wipe/spray at a time.
It’s a tough job momming sometimes. I don’t know how all the single parents do it! I’m utterly exhausted and just trying not to add to the mess. (I mean losing a couple pounds would be nice, but not when I am helpless and J has to stay home from work.)
Anyway, enough about the woes in the Magee house. I thought I’d share an item from one of my favorite online boutiques! This isn’t a sponsored post or have any affiliation, I just really love the boutique.

Monogrammed clothing and accessories have become very popular in recent years. I think it becomes really fun for newly married ladies! Everything “Mrs.,” “Wifey,” or personalized to your new last name is so much more appealing! And it makes you feel like you belong to a country club, where you spend your afternoons lounging by a pool in a large straw hat and oversized sunnies. Come on, I know you’ve had this dream before..
I’ve ordered a bunch of items and gifts from this website and everything has been great! This sweater is one of my most recent purchases, I ordered it in the last week of December and received it at the end of January (sometimes monogrammed orders take about 4 weeks to complete). I’ve wore it a couple times and I really love the fabric!
I decided to go with the navy color and cream threading. It turned out great! I think white thread would have been a little more clean-cut if that’s your style, so I’d recommend that to anyone looking for more of that girly, crisp finish.
My only wish is that I would have ordered a size smaller, as it’s pretty roomy! I also didn’t know how much weight I was going to lose, so I ordered a small.
Pairing the sweater with a button-down and fancy necklace adds more prep to the overall look. I wanted to keep it soft and feminine so I wore blush jeans and nude heels. White or off-white jeans would also look very nice and clean with this ensemble and add more of a preppy finish. If you opt for white, I’d change up the jewelry to a bolder color or to add every more of a preppy appeal this necklace.
I really recommend checking out Prep Obsessed. You will be seeing more items from this boutique on the blog in future posts to come. (I stuffed my mom’s entire Christmas Stocking with small home decor items from this site.)
I hope you all are having a fantastic day. Please send your prayers to our little family for good health and fast recoveries for my boys! I appreciate it more than you know.
