Hello Lovely!
Spring was supposed to have sprung by now, but my yard is still littered with the remnants of winter. Though depressing, there are warmer days just around the corner, and less snow.
This year we are blessed to have a later Easter. This means the possibility of warm weather. Maybe the sun will be so hot, that you will ditch the cardigan right after church or brunch! We can only hope and pray to be graced by the good Lord’s warmth.
This Easter is actually a really big deal for me. As some of you may know, I am converting to Catholicism and will receive my first communion as a Catholic at the Saturday night Easter vigil at our church. I am very excited about taking this step in my faithful journey to heaven.
Having such a substantial meaning to my life, I have been sleuthing the internet top to bottom in search of the perfect dress to wear to Easter mass. I decided, in true Taylor fashion, that I would be doing a Mommy and Me look with Miss Cece.
Having decided this, finding the perfect dress became that much harder! Why do I do these things to myself? I have no clue, but I did find some great options while searching and wanted to share my top ten with you!
There is something about spring that makes me giddy about pink. I don’t even think it’s my best color or anything. I just love the soft and feminine feeling I have when I’m wearing a powdery shade of pink! So, I compiled this list of ten appropriate pink styles that would be perfect options for any lady this Easter.
Now, I know there a couple purple hues in this bunch, but you get the gist. I love that most of the styles come in other colors as well, so if pink isn’t your thing you still have options!
The most versatile dress on the list is probably the lace midi by ASTR (letter h. for reference). I believe it is currently available in 7 different colors, so there are endless possibilities when picking and styling that beauty!
If you’re not much of a church goer, but do celebrate with a grand lunch/dinner with your loved ones there is something on this list for you too!
Lace is such a staple for this time of year. It would be perfect for any Easter adventure.
And a classic wrap styled dress works great for almost all figures and will be comfortable to wear all day while preparing food or socializing with your relatives.
Regardless of your Easter plans, I hope you found some inspiration from my picks and can now plan your family outfits around it! That’s how I plan our outfits. (Typically it’s around what ever I want to dress Cece in!! ha ha.)
I hope you have a fantastic Monday, and nobody gets you too bad with an April Fool’s Day joke! More to come on the blog later this week, so stay tuned.
